Abolition of Abortion Is Stopping Evil

We begin with a question.

What do God’s Law and God’s Gospel look like in a culture that practices Child Sacrifice.

When Rebekah was experiencing a difficult pregnancy, she asked a simple question of God. “The children struggled together within her, and she said, “If it is thus, why is this happening to me?” So she went to inquire of the LORD. And the LORD said to her, “Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples from within you shall be divided;” Gen 25:22-23 ESV

Apparently God never heard of or considered Rebekah’s right to privacy or her body her choice. It could not have been her body anyway, because Rebekah was a female and both of those babies were male.

Two nations, sheni goy’yim not “two clumps of cells” or “two potential lives.” Those two babies were much bigger than that – they would divide into two nations. Destroy those babies and no Israel and no Edom.

This is parallel to when Cain killed Abel and in that case when God confronted Cain he said “The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to me from the ground.” Gen 4:10 ESV

The difficulty with that translation is that “blood” is actually a masculine plural construct and should be translated bloods. This proper translation is noted in the Mishnah Sanhedrin 4:5 as explaining the consequences.

In cases of capital law, if one testifies falsely, the blood of the accused and the blood of his offspring that he did not merit to produce are ascribed to the witness’s testimony until eternity. The proof for this is as we found with Cain, who killed his brother, as it is stated concerning him: “The voice of your brother’s blood [demei] cries out to Me from the ground” (Genesis 4:10). The verse does not state: Your brother’s blood [dam], in the singular, but rather: “Your brother’s blood [demei],” in the plural. This serves to teach that the loss of both his brother’s blood and the blood of his brother’s offspring are ascribed to Cain.

Those are generations of descendants that were to come from Abel that never had the opportunity to live.

A fact of biology is that baby girls are not only born with all of their eggs formed; they have a uterus and are forming those eggs at 9 weeks! If that baby is sacrificed in the womb, those eggs will never have the opportunity of becoming a person. That baby’s bloods – her descendants – have been destroyed. Plural which God and His Law consider to be the murder of generations. How long will we keep looking and still choose not to see?!

We make no treaties with evil. We do not fight for incremental gains. We are Wallbuilders

When Israel opposed the worship of Molech, they did not say “Let’s begin by saying you can only sacrifice your child to Molech if they are below that age of 6 months.” They did not say, “It is okay to sacrifice your child to Molech if they do not feel pain.”

Here is the standard which was given:

You shall not give any of your children to offer them to Molech, and so profane the name of your God: I am the LORD.” Lev 18:21 ESV

“Any of your children” is all encompassing. Not “only your children who are below such and such an age.” Even though our technology of child sacrifice can now enter a womb, the principle remains unchanged. Molech comes from melek which means “king” or one who rules. We have listened more to Molech than to God.

The First Commandment tells us the Supreme Court is not our God, it is not our ruler. They are only other humans with human opinions. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is our opinion giver. As Peter and John said to the rulers in Jerusalem, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge,” Acts 4:19 ESV

In a post-Roe world we are still abolitionists

“Abolitionist” is not a synonym for “pro-lifer.” Pro-life is the expression of a moral position that states life is important. Abolition is the expression of moral action in confronting the evils of our age with God’s Absolutist position on moral law and the reality of the Gospel. When you call yourself “pro-life” you are letting people know how you feel about abortion. When you call yourself an abolitionist, you are telling them what you are doing about abortion.

We confront the evils of our age with the truth and reality of God and the opportunity to have sin (yes murder is still sin) covered and forgiven. The realization of violating a moral absolute put in place by the Creator is what creates the need for the Gospel.

Join us as we bring the Torah (God’s Law) and the Gospel and all of Scripture (the WHOLLY Bible) into direct conflict with the evils of our age. That is the only outcome possible as we ask this question: “How should Torah and Gospel look in a culture that practices child sacrifice?”

1 John 3:8 declares “The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.”

Abolitionists imitate their Master Yeshua (aka Jesus) in appearing in order to destroy the works of the devil. Not slow them, not compromise with them. Destroy them through the Law and the Gospel. Wallbuilders Obstructing Known Evil – the true WOKE!

An Abolitionist confronts lawmakers.

At the Colorado Legislature a house bill HB 22-1079, was entered fir the purpose of abolishing abortion. Hear a powerful confrontation of a legislative committee with Truth, which leaves them with full responsibility for what they decide.

We have been silent in the face of great evil.

We make no distinction between a Messianic Congregation, or Hebrew Roots or an Evangelical Church or a Protestant or Roman Catholic or any other description someone wants to use. We are not Jewish – we do not condone abortion based on rabbinic commentary which ignores the Torah as condemning abortion as a fact. We are not Gentile – unskilled in the Law of God. We are abolitionists seeking to unite the One New Man (Ephesians 2:14) to jointly confront the glaring evils of our age. “How long can a man look and just not see?!” We have one vision – to confront the evils of our age with Truth, Law and Gospel!

We use the names Jesus and Yeshua synonymously and we proclaim the Good News that Messiah Has Come to every creature under heaven. Call him by whatever name you will, Jesus, Yeshua, Jesus – he cares much more about what you do than how you pronounce his name and anything else you say. And the Creator says this:

Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hates; they have become a burden to me; I am weary of bearing them. When you spread out your hands, I will hide my eyes from you; even though you make many prayers, I will not listen; your hands are full of blood. Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes; cease to do evil, learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause. Isaiah Chapter 1 (read it all) ESV

You say you follow Torah – good, but do you hide behind it or take it into confrontation with the culture around you? You say you don’t believe in God’s Law? You have only half of a Bible. Like a sword with no blade. It’s the WHOLLY Bible that is a weapon and is called the Sword of the Spirit. There are no New Testament only pocket knives in the warfare of the Kingdom. Jesus fought Satan with quotes from Deuteronomy, all of them, and not with quotes from Paul. Do your homework behind Matthew 4 and see with your own eyes.

You say, “I have never had an abortion or supported anyone to have one.” Excellent! But have you looked the other way, pretending this is not true where you live and that it only effects someone else?

And if the people of the land do at all close their eyes to that man when he gives one of his children to Molech, and do not put him to death, then I will set my face against that man and against his clan and will cut them off from among their people, him and all who follow him in whoring after Molech. Vayikra (Lev) 20:4-5 ESV

No more excuses – Congregation/Synagogue/Assembly – or Church – whatever you choose to call yourself, Wake Up and Repent! We are all accountable and at the Judgment Seat of Christ, there won’t be lines that say Presbyterian, Baptist, Methodist, Evangelical, Messianic, Roman Catholic. The only important question will be “What have you done with what you knew to be true?”
