Dismantling the illusion that God is distant or absent

Answers in Exodus is the home of The Hebraic Life Alliance and HeartReachers

They all have a role in Protecting Life Through Love and Law and Making Abortion Unthinkable.

Hebraic Life Alliance

The Hebraic Life Alliance (HLA) is WHAT WE DO with our goal to fulfill Isaiah 1 where it says:

“cease to do evil, learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause.” (end of v 16 through 17)  ESV

Answers in Exodus

Answers in Exodus (AIE) is WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO with our goal to make 21st Century disciples with the love and power of a 1st Century faith.

This is our place of study where we work through the unity of all the revelation of Scripture and its application to our lives. This is where we learn why we must overcome evil with good and expose the evils of our age. Answers in Exodus includes our Blog “Both Ends of the Book” where you will find the Bible unified and applied from “cover to cover” on a variety of life reaching and life changing topics.

HeartReachers

HeartReachers is HOW WE DO WHAT WE DO by communicating Straight To the Heart and influencing a conscience as the basis for change.

While there is much content available including that found at AIE, HeartReachers was created to provide foundational skills for a persuasive delivery of truth.  This is our training in how to communicate what you know to be true in a culture that does not want to hear truth. This is where we learn how to speak truth in truth-less times to a conscience rather than trying to influence an intellect or gain an emotional reaction.

FIRST OF ALL WE ARE ABOLITIONISTS

Living in a culture that practices child sacrifice leaves no room for compromise.

When it is practiced at a level that would shock the nations around Israel that sacrificed their children to their gods, gods like Molech, there is no place for negotiating.

We do not negotiate with evil.  We overcome evil with good.

Along with other abolitionists:

We strive to bring the truth revealed in God’s Word into conflict with the worldly wisdom of man. Rather than leaving the Bible out of our engagements, we are determined to that it should be the foundation for everything that we do. The concept of abolitionism (the removal of evils) is derived from the word of God. It follows from the call to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God (Micah 6:8).

God’s people are  explicitly instructed to wash themselves, make themselves clean, and remove the evil of their deeds from his sight, to cease to do evil, learn good, seek justice, reprove the ruthless, defend the orphan and plead for the widow (Isaiah 1: 16-17).

The Bible does not merely command believers to abstain from evils but also to “expose them” (Ephesians 5:11). Abolitionism also follows from the practice of “pure and undefiled religion”: to look after the orphans (abandoned children) and widows (women in need) in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world (James 1:27). What Is Most Important

In Mark 12:29-31 Yeshua (aka Jesus) answers the question of which commandment is the most important.  He says this:

Yeshua answered, “The first is, ‘Shema Yisrael, Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai echad. Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One.  And you shall love Adonai your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’  The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”  (TLV)

Both of those are found in the Hebrew Scriptures (aka Old Testament) in the Torah.  We would do well to pay attention to the whole Bible which gives us the plan to abolish human abortion with the most direct the Command to No Murder (Exodus 20:13).

Imitating Yeshua

Regarding his reason for joining with mankind on planet earth Yeshua said this:

The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me. Because of this He anointed Me to proclaim the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim remission to captives, and to the blind to see again, to send away the ones being crushed, in remission, to preach an acceptable year of the Lord. (quoting Isa. 61:1, 2)   Luk 4:18-19  LITV

If we are to imitate Messiah, we must do as he did.

Upholding the Two Greatest Commandments is Abolitionism, the Abolishing of Evil

If we are to imitate Yeshua we must live as he lives – proclaiming good news, healing broken hearts, setting captives free, giving sight to the blind – all possible as we bring the Gospel of Messiah and his kingdom into conflict with the evil of our age.

The Follower of Messiah named John wrote this in his first little letter:

But whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God is truly made perfect. We know that we are in Him by this—whoever claims to abide in Him must walk just as He walked. 1 Jo 2:5-6  TLV

Want to know what your relationship with Yeshua (aka Jesus) is like?  Ask yourself this one question:

“How much do I look like him by how I live my life?”

In the face of rampant infanticide what would Yeshua do?
